Pain: Learning To Attract Its Opposite

There is no need to feel powerless when faced with pain. We have access to both our inner resources and the natural support of the universe to make powerful choices for ourselves in line with natural and predictable laws

It can be quite a challenge when pain turns up in your life. No-one wants to be in pain if they can help it. But what a great many of us don’t realise is that how long it stays around and how we experience it can often be a result of the way we react to it, what we think about it and what meaning it has for us in our lives.

Depression And Philosophy (via Cobweb/3.1 Planetlab2.netlab.uky.edu)

Depression and Philosophy
By Christina Sponias

Your personal philosophy of life will help you overcome your depression and even give your life a good meaning. If you are depressed it is because you are sensitive, you are not indifferent to what is wrong, unbearable, ugly and crazy.

You are human. You are not a stone.

However, the emotion you feel is too strong and it ruins your life…

Teen Depression - Cutting Your Body

Unfortunately, many teenagers have the tendency to abuse their own bodies when they don’t feel well. If they don’t act this way, they may even suffer from panic attacks. However, they don’t believe they are suicidal… They don’t want to receive treatment from a professional, mainly because they hate them, and they simply carry on in this way until something worse happens. Of course, it can only get worse since it is a very serious sign of the domination of the wild conscience in the person’s human conscience. This wild conscience is very violent, so it pushes the person to torture his or her own body. This behaviour is completely crazy!

Abigail Vonschleshinger

Abigail VonSchleshinger

Awoke one frosty day
“Lord, please lead me step by step
And show me how, I pray.”

“I have given You my life,
I’ll go where e’er you will.
Trusting You to open doors,
Your will through me fulfill.”

Abigail went on to pray,
Until the sun was bright.
Joyfully she walked outside,
And danced in morning’s light.

She felt something new inside,
That words can ne’er express.
Glistening eyes alit with praise
She answered, “Yes, Lord … Yes!”

Childhood dreams of Africa,
And reaching out with love,
Touching hearts and meeting needs,
Was all she could think of.

Sex After Prostate Cancer- Will Fear Or Love Prevail In Your Relationship?- Communication Is The Key

If you’ve read any of my articles in the past, you know that I’m not a doctor, I’m a wife, and a communicator by profession. My husband survived Prostate Cancer a little more than six years ago. We have experienced the before, during, and after procedure stress in our lives and our relationship. I write for inspiration, love, and hope for all who care to read what I offer.

Before procedures, everyone is worried about the outcome of the procedures. After the procedures, everyone has questions about the relationship, sex, and love. It can get confusing sometimes. Add to this confusion and frustrations about our bodies and aging with the fact that middle-aged women also are or will be dealing with menopausal and hormonal issues of their own and wow…..it’s nuts.

True Happiness

When I was 12 years old, I had an idea to write a book that would change the world and make everyone happy. The whole world would be united and everyone would have everything they need. I started writing it several times. It was my first work of literature…

I had success in my compositions at school and my poems were even famous in my circle of friends. However, I had never written a book before… My classmate Sheila listened to the beginning of this book over the phone “only” a hundred times…
