Pain: Learning To Attract Its Opposite

There is no need to feel powerless when faced with pain. We have access to both our inner resources and the natural support of the universe to make powerful choices for ourselves in line with natural and predictable laws

It can be quite a challenge when pain turns up in your life. No-one wants to be in pain if they can help it. But what a great many of us don’t realise is that how long it stays around and how we experience it can often be a result of the way we react to it, what we think about it and what meaning it has for us in our lives.

3 Principles Of Success

Success is personal. When you are successful with something, you are pleased with the outcome. You may even be thrilled with the results. It can be something that doesn’t take a lot of your time, such as quickly getting a good meal together or something that takes many years, such as completing a graduate degree program.

Principles are guidelines or tools to help you achieve something that is important. They simplify a lot of incoming data so that you do not get overwhelmed. As you continue reading, remember that all principles can have exceptions.

An anxious mind might experience such a case, however this cannot be the only cause, the other cause is it comes genetically, passed from your ancestors. Gods Love - Dissolving Mans Spiritual Blockages

In order to examine this love, we must examine the two types of love it encompasses.

The first type is that love which, according to the Greek philosophers, is the cause of the universe’s creation and development - man included. The second type is the human love, multiplied a thousand-fold, where God turns to man to bring him closer and persuade him to accept His Word and ways.

Getting To Know Yourself

Most people think they know themselves pretty well, but how well do you really know yourself? Do you know exactly how you feel about certain things and why, or do you tend to judge how you feel by how you think you should feel? Are you comfortable with your feelings and the “inner you,” or is that uncomfortable?

Getting to know yourself may be a little different from getting to know the new neighbor or that attractive blond in your building, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be harder to really get acquainted with you.

Get Things Done! The Power Of A To-do List

One day my client and I were discussing her job. She gets to work early every day, works through lunch and finally goes home after everyone else. Yet, despite all the hours she was putting in she didn’t feel like she was accomplishing anything. She felt unproductive, ineffective and without direction.

The first thing I asked her was what she expected to get done each day. She didn’t know. I asked her if she used a to-do or task list. She told me that she creates them all the time. Her current list was over 2-pages long. Then she confessed that she hadn’t looked at her to-do list in over a week.

Anger Management Techniques

GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR ANGER NOW WITH THESE STEPS:

1. Breathe deep and long breaths. Be sure to open your belly and breathe deep into your abdomen. You may not know it, but when you’re angry you’re panicking. This will help you to calm down.

2. Walk outside and look at the sky while you’re doing your deep breathing. This will help you to put things in perspective, and it can have a soothing effect.

3. Do some stretches. When you’re angry your body gets tense and rigid. The stretching will open up some of the tight areas of your body and get more oxygen flowing to your brain and help you clear your thoughts.

Success, Personal Growth, And Financial Freedom - How To Achieve All 3

Success, personal growth, and financial freedom are three things that almost everyone wants to have in life. The disappointing truth is that few rarely achieve them. Here are 3 keys to achieve success, personal growth, and financial freedom.

1. Don’t be afraid to take risks.

Ok, I know the word ‘risk’ seems to be taboo but it shouldn’t. To be successful you need to properly understand what risk is. The media portrays risk as something dangerous that will destroy your life. Risk is like a car. A car becomes less risky the better you learn to drive. Whatever area in life you want to succeed at, weigh the risks and determine what level of risk you are willing to take. Once that is done you need to step out and just trust yourself.

The Practices Of The Heart Part Vi - The Practice Of Authentic Self-expression

Every day, I strive to express a true and full range of who I am, what I see, what I feel, and what I know. Before I go to bed, I look back on the day to see if I was true to myself, my values, and my beliefs. When all else is stripped away—my work, my image, my actions—I am left with me. This simple fact reminds me to be consistent with my true self and follow through with what is in my heart. The practice of authentic self-expression stems from knowing who you are and how you wish to operate in the world.
